In the presence of the French ambassador, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between SAIP and the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI)

His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Swailem, welcomed the visit of the Director General of the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), Mr. Pascal Farrow, and the French ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ludovic Pouille.
 
During the visit, SAIP and INPI signed a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in the field of intellectual property aiming at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the intellectual property between the two countries through exchange of information and practices, as well as experience and capacity building in intellectual property in general and geographical indications in particular.
Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Swailem thanked Mr. Pascal Farrow for the visit and stressed the importance of the cooperation between the two countries in the field of intellectual property. Dr. Abdulaziz expressed his appreciation to the French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ludovic Pouille, for his participation in the signing ceremony, wishing them continued success.
